1. Who may use the service
You may use MyFirstMiles only if you can legally agree to these terms. Minors should use the site with a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for supervising that use.
2. Educational purpose
MyFirstMiles provides general planning tools, estimates, discussion prompts, checklists, and educational information. It does not provide personalized financial, lending, insurance, tax, legal, mechanical, medical, emergency, or driving instruction.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the information you enter, the assumptions you choose, and every purchase, financing, insurance, vehicle, and driving decision. Verify estimates with current local information and qualified professionals. Follow applicable laws, license restrictions, insurance requirements, and vehicle rules.
4. Dashboards and saved progress
Purchasing a membership does not require ChatGPT sign-in. The separate family dashboard is intended for a parent, guardian, or adult family member and currently uses optional ChatGPT sign-in to protect cross-device planning data. Keep access to the signed-in dashboard secure and make sure saved information is accurate and appropriate. Dashboard saving and restoration can replace browser copies; review the information after restoring it.
5. Paid subscriptions
MyFirstMiles offers monthly and annual membership through Stripe. The price, billing interval, renewal terms, and total due are displayed before payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Use available Stripe billing-management instructions or the MyFirstMiles contact form to request payment-method help or cancel future renewal. Use the same email at checkout and optional dashboard sign-in for automatic membership connection. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless checkout or applicable law states otherwise.
6. Billing problems and refunds
If a payment fails, membership features may be limited or paused while the account is past due. Refund requests are reviewed through the contact form and handled according to the checkout terms and applicable law; these Terms do not limit any non-waivable consumer rights.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, scrape it in a way that impairs service, submit abusive or unlawful material, or use it to violate another person’s rights or any law.
8. Third-party resources
Links to external resources are provided for convenience and education. MyFirstMiles does not control or endorse every statement, product, service, policy, price, or availability on another site.
9. Content and ownership
The MyFirstMiles name, visual design, original copy, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the tools for personal and household planning, but you may not copy, resell, or present the service as your own without permission.
10. Availability and warranties
The service is provided on an “as available” basis and may change, pause, or contain errors. To the extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that results are complete, current, accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular vehicle or decision.
11. Limits of liability
To the extent allowed by law, MyFirstMiles is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on estimates or educational content, account-data loss, use of a vehicle, a purchase or financing decision, third-party services, or interruption of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only as permitted.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated as membership and payment features develop. Continued use after an updated effective date means the revised terms apply.
