1. Planning information stored in your browser
The tools may store estimates, goals, checklist responses, readiness answers, and agreement details in browser storage on the device you use. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to see the information. Clear an individual tool, clear browser site data, or use private browsing when you do not want it retained locally.
2. Membership and optional family dashboards
An adult may purchase a membership directly through Stripe without signing in with ChatGPT. Stripe provides MyFirstMiles with the purchaser’s email address plus customer, subscription, plan, status, renewal, and cancellation information needed to provide and support the membership.
A parent, guardian, or adult family member may separately choose to sign in with ChatGPT and copy supported tool progress into a MyFirstMiles family dashboard. Dashboard records may include the adult’s ChatGPT-provided name and email address, membership status, saved tool data, and update timestamps. Use the same email at checkout and dashboard sign-in when you want the records to connect automatically.
Dashboard saving is optional. Local tool data is not copied merely because someone visits the site, purchases a membership, or signs in. The signed-in adult must select the save action.
3. Privacy-first site analytics
MyFirstMiles records page paths, completed tools, account and membership actions, limited campaign labels, referring website hostnames, and a temporary browser-session identifier. This helps us understand which resources are useful and whether important workflows function correctly.
MyFirstMiles does not store an analytics IP address, advertising cookie, precise location, or cross-site behavioral profile. Temporary session storage keeps campaign context during the browser session and is not used to identify a person across sites.
4. Contact messages
The contact form collects the name, email address, and message a visitor submits. MyFirstMiles uses that information to review and respond to the request, maintain a reasonable record of communications, and protect the service from misuse. Contact information is not displayed publicly.
5. Site delivery and security information
Hosting, network, authentication, and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, device or browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. MyFirstMiles does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising, or precise location tracking.
6. Payments and outside services
Membership checkout and billing management are provided by Stripe. Stripe receives the purchaser’s email and the information needed to process the transaction, provide receipts, prevent fraud, and manage the subscription under Stripe’s own privacy terms. MyFirstMiles stores the purchaser email, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan interval, membership status, and renewal or cancellation timing—not full card numbers.
The Learning Center and other pages may link to government agencies and outside services. Their privacy practices apply after you leave MyFirstMiles.
7. Children and family use
MyFirstMiles is designed for a parent or guardian and teen to use together. It is not directed to children under 13 for independent use, and family accounts are intended for adults. MyFirstMiles does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If such information is identified, use the contact form to request review and deletion.
Do not enter sensitive identifiers or credentials, including a Social Security number, driver’s-license number, bank credentials, full account or card number, or exact location.
8. Choices, retention, and requests
You control whether supported progress is saved to an account and may overwrite the browser copy by restoring an account copy. Information is retained only as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Use the contact form to request access, correction, or deletion of account or contact information.
9. Changes to this notice
This notice may change as MyFirstMiles adds membership or payment features. The updated date will identify the current version, and material changes will be posted before they take effect when appropriate.
